Architecture
Native apps, realtime cloud services, one isolated tenant per business.
Every app is a native Flutter build for its platform. The apps work through realtime channels and serverless functions on Appwrite Cloud, and each business has its own database, storage bucket and team.
Native Flutter apps
Each app is a native Flutter build for Windows, macOS, Android or iOS. All of them share one models package, so a piece, a lot or an order means the same thing on every screen.
Realtime and serverless
Realtime channels push each change to every open app. Serverless functions run the jobs that belong in the cloud: staff access, licences, push notifications, customer onboarding, metal-rate sync and AI image requests.
One tenant per business
Every business gets its own database, storage bucket and team on Appwrite Cloud. Your data sits in your tenant, and your staff belong to your team.
Sync model
Each app syncs the way its job needs.
The office has to keep going when the line drops, the exhibition floor has to keep taking orders, and the owner wants live numbers. So the apps sync in three different ways.

Designed to prevent duplicate document numbers and half-saved records.
Document numbers are claimed in the cloud, and related records save all-or-nothing.

Security
Access is enforced in the cloud, and devices are locked.
Swarnabook checks who can do what on the server, and lets you lock anyone out of every device in one tap.

Nine roles and more than fifteen individual permissions. The server rejects unknown roles and unknown permissions.

- Encryption at rest, with its scope stated
Core business records on the office PC are encrypted at rest with AES-256.
- Push notifications isolated per business
Each business's alerts and approvals go to that business's people.
- Licences checked against the server clock
Licence validity is checked against the server's clock, independent of a device's date setting.
- Scoped, need-to-know access
Exhibition staff see only their assigned venues, and process operators only their processes. Customer names are hidden from staff who only issue work. Buyers see only their own orders.
- Four-eyes approvals, recorded handovers
Staff can't approve their own requests. Swarnabook records who created each document, who held each piece and every approval.

AI processing, disclosed
AI Studio is for jewellery imagery. It sends the product photos you choose to a third-party AI provider for processing, and nothing is published until you approve it. Our privacy policy says so.
Alongside your accounts
Swarnabook works alongside your billing and accounting software and exports what your accountants need. There is no Tally connector today; billing integration is scoped in your proposal.
