Terms of Use

1. About these terms

These terms apply to this website, www.swarnabook.com, and to the Swarnabook apps (Swarnabook Office, Swarnabook Staff, the Owners Live Portal and the branded buyer apps we build for our clients). They are provided by Auric Systems, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. By using the website or the apps, you agree to these terms.

If you are a client, your signed agreement with Auric Systems (your MoU or contract) also applies. Where it differs from these terms, your signed agreement applies.

2. This website

• This website is for information. It is not an offer. Prices, plans and timelines are given only in a written proposal.
• App screens shown here are examples with demo data. The names, numbers and records in them are not real.
• What a client gets depends on its agreement and setup. Some features shown are built on request.
• Swarnabook vouchers and estimates are not GST tax invoices. Swarnabook works alongside your billing and accounting software.

3. Accounts and logins

• Keep your logins, one-time codes (OTPs) and PINs secret. Do not share them.
• The business owner or admin decides each staff member's role and access, and removes access when someone leaves.
• A business is responsible for what is done under its accounts.
• Tell us straight away if you think an account is being misused.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Use Swarnabook for anything unlawful or fraudulent.
• Try to break into, overload or get around the security of Swarnabook or of another business's data.
• Copy, resell, rent out, or reverse-engineer the software.
• Upload viruses or harmful code, or content you have no right to use.

5. Your data

Everything a business enters into Swarnabook (its catalogue, customers, orders, stock, ledgers and photos) belongs to that business. We use it only to run, support and fix Swarnabook, as explained in our Privacy Policy. On request, we provide an export of your data in standard formats, as set out in your agreement.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, such as rates, weights, purity and prices, and for meeting your tax and legal duties. Swarnabook is a tool to record and calculate. It does not replace your own checks.

6. WhatsApp and messages to your buyers

If you connect your WhatsApp Business number to Swarnabook, you also accept Meta's WhatsApp Business terms and policies. You must:

• Have your buyers' permission before you message them on WhatsApp.
• Send only lawful messages that are relevant to them.
• Stop messaging anyone who asks you to stop.

Meta charges you directly for WhatsApp messages. Meta may limit or block a number that breaks its rules. Such decisions are Meta's and outside our control. The same care applies to the app notifications you send to your buyers.

7. AI Studio

• AI Studio images are made by a third-party AI service. Check every image before you use it. AI images can contain mistakes.
• Only upload photos you have the right to use.
• Image generation is charged per image, as agreed with you.

8. Who owns what

The Swarnabook software, its designs, the Swarnabook name and logo, and this website belong to Auric Systems. Clients get the right to use Swarnabook as set out in their agreement. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve Swarnabook.

9. Availability and updates

We work to keep Swarnabook running and improving. We deliver updates over the air and plan maintenance to cause as little disruption as possible. Many tasks keep working offline and sync when the connection returns. Outages at services we depend on, such as Appwrite, Google or Meta, are outside our control.

10. Responsibility and liability

This website is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, Auric Systems is not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profit, arising from using this website. For clients, the liability terms in the signed agreement apply. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

11. Suspension and ending use

We may suspend access in case of misuse, a security risk, or as set out in your agreement. You can stop using the website at any time. When a client leaves Swarnabook, its data is exported and deleted as set out in its agreement and our Privacy Policy.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction. Before going to court, we will both first try to settle any dispute in good faith within 30 days of written notice.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. If a change is important, we will also tell our clients directly.
