One piece. One identity. From the bench to the buyer.
Every piece keeps the same identity from the day it is tagged at jama to the day it is sold, returned or scrapped. Every handover is requested and accepted, and one scan shows the whole story.
From jama to sale, every state has a name.
At the bench a piece is tagged, out with a karigar or back at the office. Once converted it moves through twelve stock states, so every screen agrees on where it is and whether it can be sold.
Pieces converted by floor staff wait in Pending approval, hidden from sale, until an approver accepts them. Staff can't approve their own requests. Conversions made in the office go straight to Available.
Every handover is requested, then accepted.
Every piece and every lot has a named holder. Handing it to someone else creates a request that waits in their Incoming list until they accept it. If the owner has to step in, the override is logged.
- Accept or reject a whole batch, or piece by piece
- Each request shows who sent it and how long it has waited
- Origin karigar, purity and gross weight on every line
- Every handover lands on the piece's lookup timeline
Scan any tag. Read its whole story.
Item Lookup turns a scan into a timeline: who made the piece, every karigar it visited and its weight after each step, when it was approved, where it travelled and how it sold. It works in Swarnabook Office, Swarnabook Staff and Owners Live Portal, with a USB scanner or a phone camera.
- Gross weight after each step, so a missing gram has a date and a name
- Open the receipt, transfer or voucher behind an event
- A quick estimate PDF at today's rate, from the same screen
- Order remarks on the same timeline

Tags that look like your house, printed from stock or from Excel.
Design tags by drag and drop with your own fonts and logo. Design once at head office and publish the template to every device.
- A4 fold-over sheets. Print tags on ordinary inkjet sheets when you have no tag printer.
- Thermal tag printers. ZPL printers over USB or the network, for fast runs at jama.
- QR and barcodes. Every tag scans straight into Item Lookup, an estimate or a memo.
- From stock or from Excel. Print what you just tagged, a filtered list, or rows from a spreadsheet.
- Today's rate on the tag. Price fields print at today's metal rate when you choose to show them.
HUID, on every piece
HUID 7XK2QARecord the HUID against each piece when it comes back hallmarked, and print it on the tag. It stays on the piece's record from then on.
Swarnabook records and prints HUID numbers. It does not connect to the BIS portal.
Metal by purity. Old gold in its own vault.
Bullion sits in a purity-wise metal vault, and raw metal issued to a karigar is drawn from it. Old gold of mixed purity has a vault of its own, which scrap recovery also feeds. Stones and findings keep their own stock with a ledger.
- Every vault movement is tied to the issue, receipt or scrap behind it
- Old gold is tracked by gross and fine, ready to issue to a karigar
- Stone and findings stock keeps a ledger of every movement

Count the whole showroom as a team.
Several staff scan at once, on phones, tablets or Windows PCs. Scans are saved on the device if the Wi-Fi drops. The supervisor watches one live board, and the count ends in a report of what was counted, missing or unexpected.
- See who is counting and how far each person has got
- Pieces out on memo are shown apart from true gaps
- At an exhibition close-out, counted stock goes home on one transfer document
- The owner can request a count from the Owners Live Portal, and stock-count gaps raise an alert there
- The office runs an automatic stock-vs-ledger check after every manufacturing sync
